When some minister goes and makes daft statements such as an unqualified labourer can earn 850k plus per month in Korea, even bank managers will try all means to get out! Senior managers at that.

People have been receiving SMSs saying their application has been approved for an online job and asking to click on a given link, when they have not applied for any such job. Beware of these scammers.

Few days back I read about the ongoing rackets within the Foreign Employment Bureau itself about sending of workers to Israel where the Bureau Officials are making money in their illegal activities as reported by responsible people who are presently employed in Israel. People must be warned of these corrupt activities within the Bureau itself. The people have protested in front of the Bureau itself. No explanation from the Bureau about this incident.

Tomorrow there is a vacancy interview at the hilltop in Pettah for a call center job profile at LAOS as advertised in SLBFE> I called and confirmed with them. The job is very sketchy. CALL CENTER AND 500$ payment only monthly. They mentioned they do not retain passports, but the company took the passports. If possible, please investigate this job profile. They say there is target and telemarketing job. I personally feel there is something wrong with the employer at LAOS. People going must be cautious. WARNED ! (Please publish if you have investigated this vacancy)
