Administering the Pfizer vaccine to students aged between 18 and 19 would take place at their respective schools throughout the country from today, a Medical specialist said.
President of the Sri Lanka College of Paediatrician Dr.shaman Rajindrajith said the inoculation of students aged between 18 and 19 was successfully carried out in the Colombo District as a pilot project starting from October 15.
He said the project would be extended to all other districts from today and requested the parents to get their children vaccinated at their respective schools or at MOH offices.
He said facilities have been arranged for those with allergies to receive the vaccine at a hospital under medical supervision. (AJITH SIRIWARDANA)

What about 18 19 age group not attending school. Also students of private and international schools. Better to have through GS area and open areas like Vihara Maha Devi park as done earlier.
