No-Confidence Motion against Gammanpila defeated by 91 votes

The No-Confidence Motion brought against Energy Minister Udaya Gammanpila by the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) was defeated with a majority of 91 votes a short while ago.

The vote on the No-Confidence Motion was taken a short while ago in Parliament following a two-day-long debate.

A total of 152 MPs voted against the motion while 61 MPs voted in favour. (AS & YP)
