Drug kingpin Mohamed Najim Mohamed Imran alias Kanjipani Imran today arrived at the Government Analyst’s Department over the alleged death threat that he had allegedly issued to a police officer at Keselwatte.
The suspect was accused of verbally abusing and issuing death threats to two constables attached to the Keselwatte Police Station, over the telephone. He had been summoned to the GA’s Department to check the voice samples.
The Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne yesterday ordered the Prisons Authority to produce him before the Government Analyst’s Department at 10.00 a.m. for the check.
