These are THE most INHUMANE measures adopted to keep Elephants away from villages. In Africa they rear BEES all around the perimeter where Elephants roam and they stay away from those Bees like the 'plague' as the Elephant does NOT like them getting inside their trunks! This is a Far, FAR more humane way to keep Elephants away from Villages and as a plus the Villagers can earn some money by selling authentic natural Bees' Honey to the public. Would this silly simplistic Minister read this, pay heed and adopt this instead of those horrible Electric fences which kill Elephants? MM
