  • Law applies only to the normal masses. Friday, 12 August 2022 11:29 AM

That's is good and great but there are so many thugs who were organised by the Rajapakshas to assault the peaceful protesters at temple trees are still large without any punishment is a big tragedy in this country .

    Siripala Friday, 12 August 2022 11:43 AM

Sprats have been detained while Rajapaksha gangs are free to move. Fr. Peiris we are with you. God Bless you !

    Mizaru Friday, 12 August 2022 11:57 AM

Do not worry sir. An election is in the Horizan and we will send Poni and his gang to where the belong with one small piece of paper which is also called the ballot.

Some questions that needs to be posed is when did he last serve and care for his parishioners (the flock) in his assigned church? Or is his mission primarily to be a activist? If it is the latter does he really need a robe?

    A B Fernando Friday, 12 August 2022 12:48 PM

Mr. Observer, Please do research about the Fr. Jeevantha and post your comments. He had served in some remote areas with minimum facilities.

    Shan Friday, 12 August 2022 12:30 PM

Reply to Observer: The flock in the parish is in safe hands of the Lord. The shepherd goes behind the lost. He went to search and find the lost sheep of Sri Lanka who were vulnerable at the hands of wolfs.

    Sambo Friday, 12 August 2022 01:01 PM

Is it because he spoke the truth. As a democratic country we have the right for freedom of speech.

Anne Karunaratne Friday, 12 August 2022 01:51 PM

There are hardly any priests today who go looking for their "lost sheep"!!!! This priest should look after his parish, if he has one, after all charity begins at home!

    Anthony. R Friday, 12 August 2022 02:01 PM

A shepherd goes looking for his lost sheep,to save them from the wolves. Observer this will help your ignorence . He was within his rights, Democratically. He spoke the truth, the right to Freedom of Speech, in Democratic Country.

    Joseph Friday, 12 August 2022 02:32 PM

FR. Jeewantha was actively engaged with those who unlawfully occupied a pubic property. As aprist how can he justify unlawful actions. Law should apply to all regardless of civil statues

    Ram Friday, 12 August 2022 03:09 PM

Shan, your reply to the silly, ignorant Observer is commendable
