Deadline for Grade 1 admissions for 2022 extended till August 1

QThe closing date of accepting applications from children for Grade One for the Year 2023, has been extended until August 1, Education Ministry said.

Earlier, the closing date for accepting such admission for the year 2023 was set to July 16.

The Ministey said the decision was made considering the present situation of the country and the difficulties faced by the parents.

The Education Ministry issued the Grade 1 admission application on June 1, and the specimen application could be downloaded from the official website 'www.moe.gov.lk' of the Ministry. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
