Sri Lanka yesterday engaged in some documentation work with China to obtain 300,000 doses of the Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine as a donation as early as possible, a State Minister said.
State Minister of Production, Supply and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals Prof. Channa Jayasumana told the Daily Mirror the regulatory clearance for this vaccine would be given by the National Medicines Regulatory Authority(nmra). vaccine as early as possible from China,” he said.(KELUM BANDARA)

Mr Minister it's disgusting and shameful for you to even talk about a vaccine having endorsed and promoted scientifically untested substances that led to thousands risking their safety and lives . If you say you are a professional you should have tendered your resignation as some of your colleagues who consumed this substance tested positive
