The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) and Lanka IOC (LIOC) today amended the limit of fuel issued for vehicles.
Accordingly, fuel will only be issued for Rs. 2,500 for motorcycles, Rs. 3,000 for three-wheelers, and Rs.10,000 for cars, vans and Jeeps.
However, this does not apply to buses, lorries, and commercial vehicles, the chairman said.
Earlier, the issuing of fuel for vehicles was limited on April 15 and May 5. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
