Amarapura and Ramanya Buddhist chapters combined

An agreement was signed today combining the Amarapura and Ramanya Buddhist chapters and it will be known as the ‘Sri Lanka Amarapura-Ramanya Samagree Maha Sangha Sabawa’.

The agreement was signed by Mahanayake of the Sri Lanka Amarapura sect Most Venerable Kotugoda Dhammawasi Thera and the Mahanayake of the Sri Lanka Ramayana sect Most Venerable Panditha Naapaane Premasiri Thera at a special Sangha Sammelanaya held at the Foundation Institute in Colombo.
