One more Sri Lanka women's team cricketer has tested positive for Covid-19 in Zimbabwe, it is learnt.

According to sources in Harare, Kavisha Dilhari, is sharing a room with Sachini Nisansala, one of the other three players who tested positive for Covid-19 during the last PCR test conducted on Monday.

"Unlike the senior men players, all women players are sharing hotel rooms and that's how the 20-year-old was infected,” the source said.

The four cricketers, who are isolated after testing positive are vice-captain Harshitha Madavi, Vishmi Gunaratne, Nisansala and now Dilhari. All four are under medical care.

Sri Lanka's participation in the Women's World Cup qualifiers is in no doubt. The ICC has made it known to all the participating teams that the matches would be played as per original schedule.
