Colombo FC beat Defenders FC 3-1 in their FSL Super League Semi-Professional Football Tournament Stage 6 match played at the Racecourse Grounds in Reid Avenue today.
Colombo FC took a 1-0 lead into half time through a ninth-minute goal from Mohammed Aakib, who completed a hat-trick with two more goals in the 46th and 80th minute respectively.
Rifkhan Mohammed scored the solitary goal for Defenders FC in the 57th minute of the game.
Tomorrow’s matches:
New Youngs FC vs Ratnam SC at 3.30 p.m; Blue Star SC vs Sea Hawks FC at 7.30 p.m.
