Another COVID-19 patient died on October 31 increasing the total number of fatalities to 21, according to the Government Information Department.
The 40 year old victim, a resident of Mahara had been suffering from high blood pressure and an infection in the respiratory system. He had been admitted to the hospital on October 23 for his ailments.
When a PCR test had been carried out at time of admission, He had been tested as negative for COVID-19. However, When a second PCR test had been conducted after death, He had been identified to be COVID-19 positive.
