AG instructs IGP to produce Hejaaz Hizbullah in Court

Attorney General Dappula de Livera had instructed the Inspector General of Police to produce detained Attorney-at-Law Hejaaz Hizbullah to a relevant Magistrate’s Court.

Coordinating officer to the AG State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne said that Hizbullah should be produced in Court on the charges under section 02 (1) (h) of the Prevention of Terrorism Act and section 03 (1) of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR).
