The Attorney General has filed indictments in the Puttalam High Court under the Prevention of Terrorism Act and the Terrorist Financing Act against six offenders who were accused of collecting explosives and maintaining an explosive manufacturing base in Wanathawilluwa in January 2019.
He requested the Chief Justice for a Trial-at-Bar to try Mohammed Mufees, Mohammed Hamas, Ibrahim Mohammed Naufar, Mohammed Sajid, Ibrahim Sadeeq Abdullah, and Gaffoor Mama along with the deceased Zahran Hashim and Mohammad Hasthun.
