Director Sathyananda Subasinghe and Director Vijitha Lokunarangoda open branch
Lanka Credit and Business Finance PLC opened the doors of its 13th branch in the modernised town of Embilipitiya, marking their presence in the Sabaragamuwa province for the first time.
CEO/Executive Director K.G. Leelananda stated that they hope to serve the agriculture and the business sector in Embilipitiya by providing savings opportunities through ‘LCB Podiththa’ for kids, ‘LCB Sihina Ayojana’ for the youth, ‘LCB Regina’ for ladies and ‘LCB Uththama’ for the senior citizens backed by loans for the business enterprises, housing loans to employees in the private sector, finance for self-employment projects, SMEs, lease finance and gold loan facilities to all sectors in the area.
Leelananda also stated that the company has recognised the opportunities available to financing renewable energy power generating projects, home stay tourism projects, export-oriented agricultural and industrial activities, thereby participating in enhancing human capital with emphasis on developing the livelihood of the unemployed youth in the area. They will be increasing their branch network to 22 branches by the end of 2022, inclusive of the Embilipitiya branch. As they keep on expanding their branch network islandwide, they state that they will also be providing employment opportunities in their company to the educated youth.
