A screen shot of a web browser shows the wikileaks.ch home page with a portrait of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange next to the out of service wikileaks.com domain, in Lavigny December 4, 2010. WikiLeaks moved its website address to the Swiss http://wikileaks.ch on Friday after two U.S. Internet providers ditched it and Paris tried to ban French servers from hosting its database of leaked information. OK, now my burning question is this.....When a Sri Lankan journalist writes bad about the SL government, and once the SL government puts him/her in jail, countries like US and their friends like EU, Australia, Canada, etc give this journalist an award and also asylum in their country. But when a western journalist just publishes articles that he received through someone else, the US government and their friends go on a witch hunt and somehow get all the ISPs to ditch the website and ban, etc..... Is this hypocricy 101 or am I just being too naive ??

Hello NGOs !! Don't you think its time that you had a demonstration outside (your) US Embassy in support of press freedom? So much so for freedom of expression. Hypocracy they call it.

    PRESS FREEDOM .........!!!!!!!!
unlike in 3rd world countries, as a journalist you are quite safe in expressing your ideas in the 100% democratic gov. in US.
