Tagore day celebrated at Indian Cultural Centre

The Tagore Day organized by the Indian Cultural Centre was celebrated today at the Lakshman Kadiragamar Institute for International Relations and Strategic Studies in Colombo. Minister for Monetary Cooperation, Dr. Sarath Amunugama and Minister of External Affairs, Prof. G.L. Peiris along with the High Commissioner for India, Ashok K. Kantha graced the occasion. A book titled ‘Tagore and Sri Lanka’ was also launched at this occasion. Pix by Nisal Baduge
