A Colombo bound Badulla passenger bus skidded off the road in Haputale area due to heavy mist. Forty five passengers were on the bus when the incident occurred. The driver managed to prevent any accident. Pix by Rathnam Kogulan-Walimada

of course we Rejoice when US was hit, for Sri Lanka this not a curse its natural we always get Rain in this way. But US its a disaster and wasn't bad enough they have committed so much of sins.
if they can cause destruction to other nations nature will take its call for USA

There are some stupids who laughed at USA but take a look at the sad state our displaced people are in and how the displaced in USA are trated by the government. I recall Weerawansa saying in a public rally that Americans are beggars. This wise man does not realsie that it we who borrow from the IMF not USA.

I call u an Optimist.. You see the brighter side of what may be a disaster to many.. Positive thinking is key... Hats off to the Traffic cop.. A guy who sweats for his well earned salary... unlike the other govt officials who play carrom or even read newspapers while on the clock....
