Sri Lanka cannot afford refugees. The western nations who have made some countries unhabitable should take them. Sri Lanka cannot even take care of its own refugees.

All the time, there seems always unfairness by the government. For give 1000 refugees Sri Lankan citizenship is not much cost, and if they want to live here good for them. 100 times more than them, would leave this country first chance they have. There is probably some international credibility to show compassion and give these refugees Sri Lanka as performant home.

Most of Lankan never knew that there are foreigners who are refugees in this country! And they are still lingering here after turmoil during the last three years! They must be really frustrated group without any imagination or General Intelligence of world situation. They must be worse than our own people!

There is so much battle against us. If we give few hundred refugee staying rights here, the good will be 100 times there number. Each year we can proclaim what a great international citizen we are, and the international anti-Lanka groups will shut up in UNHCR.

The North is dangerous area. Give these people Sri Lankan citizenship and land in Northern provinces. If they are genuine they will life and become Sri lankans culturally. If they are jokers, who want life in West they will complain even if they are given free land, and Sri Lankan citizenship too.
