I’m not a blind supporter of RW. But what he has done up to now to stabilize our economy (even temporarily) and then rebuild the destroyed diplomatic relations is commendable. Where were you guys to criticize MR’s massive group trips overseas? As far as I know RW travels with only who’s needed for each trip.

Maybe Japanese primnister didn’t want to meet with Ranil Rajapaksa and he gave an excuse saying that he has Covid. Japanese premier knew this guy is coming with the begging bowl.

Dear Readers, It's a common practice to undertake an official visit by a leader of the country to meet his counterpart to ink bilateral agreements which would been discussed at staff-level prior to inking. Let us also understand that RW is the current President of SL, in accordance with the provisions available in the Constitution of our country. He didn't come from blues. He had been elected by the people in the past 50 years. He is qualified to hold that position. Hence no point in remarking as an Unelected President. SL is inching towards normalizing the economic down-turn. Probably by the end of this year 2023, let's hope and pray that things will improve. Let's give a reasonable time frame to RW to perform and show results.
