In the 1970s I read that some little girl wrote to then Pakistan President Ali Bhutto’s wife and received some stationary. My mother commented we are beggars. After 50 years we are still begging stationary. Maybe it is our unique Buddhist mentality. We expect and accept alms from the world. Or maybe Karma has made us a parasite country always destined to expect and receive freebies from rich countries
