Lankans, here is an example of the true spirit that lies in all of us. In an all too cynical world, here are examples of courage and sacrifice by our very own young men and women. May be, their sacrifice was because they truly loved this country.

Remembrance Day or Poppy day - The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month marks the signing of the Armistice, on 11th November 1918, to signal the end of World War One. The most famous & the most memorable war poems ever written is:
