The Annual Katchatheevu feast was held during the past two days with the participation of a large number of fishermen from India and Sri Lanka. Many dignitaries, including Indian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Ashok Kantha, Northern Security Forces Commander Mahinda Hathurusinghe and Minister Douglas Devananda participated in the three day long ceremony.
