Sri Lanka entered into an agreement today with China Development Bank for an Rs. 61 billion term facility
According to the Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka, the agreement was firmed up following a request from the Sri Lankan government.
The Chinese Embassy in a tweet shared that the RMB 2 billion facility will be used to support the COVID-19 response effort, economic revival, financial stability, and livelihood betterment.
