When compared with the 22.45 MnKgs of August 2020, August 2022 shows a decrease of 4.18 MnKgs.
The analysis by Forbes and Walker Tea Brokers highlighted that the output is the lowest recorded for the month of August in a calendar year since 1994, where it recorded 16.20 MnKgs.
The cumulative analysis of the January to August 2022 period shows that production totalled 171.37 MnKgs, recording a significant decrease of 40.60 MnKgs.
