Youth saved from drowning but dies later

Five youth who got into difficulty while bathing in the Kaluganga off the Kalido Beach were saved by residents of the area. But one of them identified as Vithanage Asain Shalitha died on admission to hospital. He was a resident of Gelenigama in Bandaragama. Another of the swimmers was admitted to the Nagoda Hospital in a critical condition. (Sunil Thanthriarachchi)
