Top people of the government act like animals. They should have prevented this at the very beginning. I do not know who advise the goverment. Dear president, this type of incident will bring more troubles to you and the government. After losing power, you will also realize the truth. Just look at all the people around you. Most of them were around the former president too. Just think of ordinary people who voted for you. If you address their grievances, one day (even after losing the power), they will remember you with a big respect.

"Kawda Mewata Waga Kiyanne". Murderous deeds of the so called patriots. Definitely blood on the hands of the Rajapakse regime. People of Gampaha should take note of these brutal acts when it comes to voting next time.

    CitizenLK Sunday, 04 August 2013 04:40 AM

When the army won the war against terrorist, we have enough people who owned it. But when the army fires live ammunition on people who (at most) pelted stones, we have no accountability. At most they could have aimed at legs. So it is not impossible for someone to now say that what happened in the north was NOT a zero casualty war as some blabbered then. Also it speaks volumes of the army's intentions when they try to remove evidence by way of removing journalists and firing at light bulbs. Was it the Imperialists, Americans, indians or Aliens that were the "Organised Force" that attacked the Army ? We speak of our army as a disciplined force. however, I think now most of us may see evidences, which at least show that a minisclue part of the army who took part may not keep upto this standard.

All manners of murder and other crimes are talked about and forgotten the next day. People have become immune to these whilst music and dancing goes on unabated. Where/when will this madness end?

The most important question is, Where are the people who's ready to immolate themselves to save cattle, yet silent about the waste of human lives? Why is BBS, Sihala Raavaya, Hela Urumaya also silent? Let's write a few more Ranaviru Upahaara gee.
