VIP family behind killing of Thajudeen: Rajitha

Health Minister Rajitha Senaratne said yesterday the CCTV evidence is available to prove that members of VIP families were involved in the assault and the killing of Havelock’s rugby captain Wasim Thajudeen.

“There is CCTV footage which shows Mr. Thajudeen leaving a club after having meals, he is then seen being stopped, assaulted and killed. The video shows members of some VIP families engaged in these activities,” he said.

The minister said the real culprits would be identified once the footage is produced in court by the CID.

Wheels of justice moves very slowly. But finally when it locks the culprit, there is no escape valve!

Much unwanted delay has been made in this case. Strange that evidence available in CCTV footage has been suppressed. Bring the culprits to justice without further dilly dallying.

    Dee Monday, 07 December 2015 06:59 PM

Enough enough. Now spell it out. Put yhr footage on you tube. That should bring enough justice. No need for all this lengthy questioning.

Hon. Arnolis Monday, 07 December 2015 07:01 PM

Please arrest the culprits and show us you really mean what you say.
