That makes sense.

When is the protests going to take place?
nicky karunarathnara Saturday, 23 March 2013 03:14 AM
What a hypocrit is this. Going to Temple trees and demonstrate because of that no war in the country and no citizen of the country getting killed on buses and trains and shopping centres from his chum Prabakaran's suicide bombers? If MR allowed that most ruthless barbarians to go on killing of Sri Lankan children, men and women and to destroy all economic wellbeing of the people - all these resolutions wouldn't happened at UN or UNHRC - that's it!
Suq Madique Saturday, 23 March 2013 03:20 AM
Another stupid suggestion. Knowing MR he will invite the protesters in for a meal and all will be forgotten.

i am disgusted with this government, but what you say is bullshit.of course if the UNP was in power, this resolution would not have been brought by the the Americans, because the country would have been separated by now.
Ravindra Ekanayake Saturday, 23 March 2013 03:49 AM
UNP also partly responsible for situation today As a responsible opposition what have they done in side the parliament or outside to educate the rural people of what happening? Instead they talk of serving Pork at the parliament canteen etc etc. With this type of attitudes UNP will never be able to raise its head. At least try to gain power in one Provincial council in the future. Remenber how Chandrika came into power by grabbing power in the Western Provincial Council in somewhere round in 1993

Balderdash.

True that govt promises everything and does nothing. The resolution is the result of credibility. Whom is the world going to trust the government or the UN. India will certainly not trust Mahinda for he has not kept his promise on the 13+. Its the foolish Sinhalese people will trust him and vote for him again and again and again
Rata Haraka Saturday, 23 March 2013 06:00 AM
Valid point. Wonder how far / how much they can push this.

Well said Gentleman, You have better common sense than
your leader
PRASANNAJIT Saturday, 23 March 2013 07:28 AM
They can do the protest while RW goes in and taste black coffee.
Mason Saturday, 23 March 2013 03:55 PM
The protests are not going to have one wee bit of a effect. What is to be done must prevent the government going about it's business.

This is true. If the Government had done what it was supposed to do by implementing the recommendations, there would have been no room for anybody to find fault with us. As far as i'm concerned Sri Lanka, America wherever, world leaders are playing sox and it's the people of those countries that suffer. The Leaders will live in luxury. All are the same to me. Nobody can point fingers at anybody else, them to us nor us to them.
