Underworld baby racket

The police are investigating information of a possible racket being carried out by underworld figures to sell new born babies, the Colombo Central Crimes Intelligence Unit told Daily Mirror online.

According to the Unit a similar operation was cracked in Maligawatte a few months back but there are fears the racket may have surfaced once again with pregnant house maids being used with or without their knowledge.

The pregnant house maids are admitted to hospital with the assistance of underworld figures and their babies are later sold to customers. According to the Colombo Central Crimes Intelligence Unit over 25 children were believed to have been sold in the Maligawatte racket which was busted earlier. (Daily Mirror online)

Finally, there will be some military officers or policemen being caught as involved. Then, it'll be related to General Fonseka, just like the SL Government recently invaded the Mihinthalawa Sacred Temple looking for General Fonseka's relative. Government did that, because the Venerable Head Monk of Mihinthalawa is critical of the Government. Sri Lanka is a nation having a "King Kekille's Law and Order. SL Government suffers from Mihinthalawa-phobia and Fonseka-phobia.
