This is a dream in our country. Till they take their last breath, will hold on to whatever power possible, despite their utter failures!

    Tuesday, 11 May 2010 10:41 PM

Coservative leader David Cameron has been invited by the Queen, to form a Government, and to be Prime Minister.

    Tuesday, 11 May 2010 11:04 AM

    Brown is down!

    Tuesday, 11 May 2010 10:02 AM

Who is the next PM, Mr. White or Mr. Black? ha ha

    Tuesday, 11 May 2010 08:54 AM

This "decent and honorable" man, Gordon Brown's election campaign was thrown into turmoil after he was caught on mic calling a Labour supporter who had challenged him over the economy and immigration a "bigoted woman". This must be the intepretation of "decent and honorable" UK style.

    Tuesday, 11 May 2010 08:25 AM

We still have something to learn from the suddas!

    Tuesday, 11 May 2010 07:10 AM

    Good bye ![ in advance]

    Tuesday, 11 May 2010 07:09 AM

    Any other option ?

    Tuesday, 11 May 2010 07:06 AM

Brown should have taken adivise from Ranil.

    Tuesday, 11 May 2010 06:31 AM

Erandhi, Why not? We have learned from them about their "Divide and Rule" policy.

    Tuesday, 11 May 2010 06:06 AM

This is for supporting LTTE terrorists in UK and killing thousands of civilians in Iraq. , Blair and Brown all gone. Bad Karma.

    Tuesday, 11 May 2010 05:36 AM

clean politics, not like bribing the oppositon, and taking them to your side to stay in power. good luck mr. brown, you love your country, didn't stay in power for personal gain, i hope our potician's will do the same.

    Monday, 10 May 2010 05:46 PM

At last ..., hope Ranil does the same for the UNP!

    Tuesday, 11 May 2010 03:48 AM

Good news early in the morning

    Tuesday, 11 May 2010 02:47 AM

Ranil W should resign from his failed leadership of the party immediately taking an example from UK PM.

    Tuesday, 11 May 2010 02:33 AM

I dont think GB should have resigned. He got 255 seats didn't he ? He should have manipulated his old school crony club to ensure that he remains as leader for the next general Elections, when they would all be around 65 to 70 years.

These Brits have no staying power. Why don't they consult Sanath J and Ranil W for some solid advice.

    Tuesday, 11 May 2010 02:24 AM

Prime Minister Brown is a decent and honourable person, unlike our power hungry politicians.Good luck to him I say!

    Tuesday, 11 May 2010 01:11 AM

What happened to Milliband the puppet ?????

    Tuesday, 11 May 2010 12:10 AM

Gentleman politics in UK, we were under their control, but have learned nothing from them.

    Monday, 10 May 2010 11:49 PM

He did not resign. He only stated that at the Party conference in September, he would do so for someone else to take the leadership of the party. He is still the PM of UK and still the leader of the Labour party in the UK

    Monday, 10 May 2010 11:03 PM

i hope sri lankan politicians also will do like this ..

    Monday, 10 May 2010 10:19 PM

Yep- Ranil high time you did the same

    Monday, 10 May 2010 06:43 PM

Mr. Ranil ... please take note!

    Monday, 10 May 2010 06:00 PM

    Misleading title eh?
