Two LTTE suspects arrested

Two Muslim residents of Sea Street who are suspected to have assisted the LTTE were arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division. Gold jewelry, foreign currency and cash worth Rs. 188,240 believed to have been extorted from the public were also recovered from the two suspects.

The two suspects are scheduled to be presented in Court today, while the CCD is conducting further investigations, the police said. (GS)
