If the prisoners are dual nationals, then each country has identical rights to detain them. If the crime was committed in Sri Lanka breaking a local law, the UK has no jurisdiction to overrule Sri Lanka's judiciary. Similarly, if the crime was committed in the UK breaking a British law, Sri Lanka has no rights to request an extradition.
So, MP Premachandran has no justification in requesting this. It's a waste of time and money even discussing it. He should concentrate on serving his constituency as the people who voted for him intended.

each countries law is if you comitt a crime in that country you have to serve the term of incurseration in that country and then be deported to his country.

Terrorist is a terrorist, What this LTTE proxy talking about. Think what rational approach USA has taken with regard to terrorist. Sri lanka has all the rights to demand to transfer any British subject involved in carrying out terrorist activities in the Sri Lankan soil.
