I guess if SF requires all these luxuries as a prisoner, every other prisoner should also get those..why only him..afterall he's just another prisoner..
suwantha Wednesday, 17 November 2010 04:27 PM
we must keep this cell for future use. becourse in the near future we can keep our RE also same cell.
Varathan Wednesday, 17 November 2010 04:50 PM
not bad.... people had no roof, not enough food during the "humanitarian operation" of war in Wanni. Nature will punish whoever played with innocents life
Karagoda Wednesday, 17 November 2010 04:55 PM
Not what MR gave him ??
Ask what MR did not get as a result of SF's dedication as a soldier !!
Concerned Citizen Wednesday, 17 November 2010 05:19 PM
No wonder the prisoners mauled the policemen....!!
Kithul Ramba Wednesday, 17 November 2010 05:23 PM
What good have you done to your Country. You must be a taker.
YURI Wednesday, 17 November 2010 06:25 PM
I DID NOT THE SRI LANKAN SO MUCH SPLITED. WHAT IS NEXT
namal Wednesday, 17 November 2010 06:29 PM
Some comments are full of hatred, party politics and sound ungrateful. Think beyond party politics for a better Sri Lanka. We need to examine our own attitudes. Whatever the weakness SF has, he has served the country in collaboration with MR and others. Think higher and beyond for a better future.
habt Wednesday, 17 November 2010 06:54 PM
No fear of water rather than shelling ::::::::::::::::::::
purohitha Wednesday, 17 November 2010 08:52 PM
We cant beleive anything this man says, he helucinates badly, Not so long back he was seeing white flags now he is seeing "rain drops".
Kalu Sudda Wednesday, 17 November 2010 09:32 PM
He could use the water for other purposes rather than throw it out.lol. I mean wasn't he the army commander?
Milinda Wednesday, 17 November 2010 03:54 PM
So what ? so called the war hero cant stand for mere rain ? What about the soldiers who fought the war under extreme weather ?
Patriotic Man Wednesday, 17 November 2010 09:51 PM
Most of the houses in Sri Lanka have leaking roofs Madam.... at least the honest workers/
kugan Wednesday, 17 November 2010 11:26 PM

malkanthi Thursday, 18 November 2010 01:13 AM
Typical sinhalaya thinking. Anyway this is not a big deal when many people suffered immensely, so future leader should be able to tolerate such minor matters cost him nothing.
malkanthi Thursday, 18 November 2010 01:17 AM
SF was too arrogant and aggressive, unless he improves his attitudes in being more polite and diplomatic in statements, SF is not fit for a country leader.
suran Thursday, 18 November 2010 01:49 AM
ungrateful short memory sri Lankan your comment is not a suprise.
buggy Thursday, 18 November 2010 02:09 AM
Is this the way to treat the major man who was behind victory of the war?Shame on every body treating him badly and forget the past so soon.
Ami Thursday, 18 November 2010 06:49 AM
Pls change your name even though it's not your real one ! Because that's not what real sinhalaya does !
Afker Thursday, 18 November 2010 07:16 AM
He is a battle hardened Soldier...a leak in a cell is nothing compared bombs and mortars raining down bunkers during the Eelaam War
Boa Thursday, 18 November 2010 07:55 AM
Malkanthi, if you think one should tolerate such "minor matters" - why don't you go to jail and set an example....
MaPer Thursday, 18 November 2010 11:47 AM
Every other prisoner is not like SF - he got injured while on duty at the Army HQ. Didn't prison authorities know the roof was leaking - and do they keep prisoners in cells with leaking roofs? If so, this is violation of human/fundamental rights.
Citizen Silva Wednesday, 17 November 2010 01:27 PM
Oh I see. That is how prisoners are treated in Sri Lanka. No wonder there are human right violation allegations against the Sri Lanka government.
Ryan Wednesday, 17 November 2010 11:32 AM
Ah, is your green card OK, get lost men
jeen Wednesday, 17 November 2010 11:47 AM

pandula Wednesday, 17 November 2010 11:54 AM
Man dedicated his life as a soldier to carck down LTTE but what MR gave to him.
NADARAJAH SETHURUPAN Wednesday, 17 November 2010 12:39 PM
“You can't rock the boat so much that the boat capsizes,” SF's friend Musharraf said.
CW Wednesday, 17 November 2010 12:41 PM
Hello Madam, is this like he lost his voice in the Navy quarters? You, the JVP & the UNP are totally responsible for his downfall. I honestly feel sorry for him.
perumal Wednesday, 17 November 2010 12:42 PM
Sorry, HE the President is busy scrutinizing the lists of prisoners to be freed on a general pardon on the swearing in day. He has no time to go into general's complaints.
Thush Wednesday, 17 November 2010 12:50 PM
Please give him more buckets. Anoma, please request few more buckets for your hubby. Everyday you have something to complain about. He is in prison, not in Hilton.
Ruwan Wednesday, 17 November 2010 12:56 PM
Bucket Hero, bucket Major
Musthafa Wednesday, 17 November 2010 01:15 PM

SINHALAYA Wednesday, 17 November 2010 11:32 AM
He deserves those things for disobeying MR.MR is our president,MR is our boss,MR is our god.
Mohamed Wednesday, 17 November 2010 01:31 PM
Govt has money to spend on Tamashas & Painting the road payments (Isalands) with green pain. What a pity no money to repair the leak of the prisoners and where SF is in Prison..
Mr. D Wednesday, 17 November 2010 01:34 PM
heavy showers made many homes and buildings wet, not only SF's cell. learn to live with nature...
Ryan Wednesday, 17 November 2010 01:49 PM
Oh sorry. When I typed this I was not thinking. I should be shown the Yellow Card for doing this.
Kithul Ramba Wednesday, 17 November 2010 02:16 PM
Nangi borrow some money and get the roof done. SF will catch cold.Mother Lanka needs him.
an Wednesday, 17 November 2010 02:24 PM

WICKRAMA Wednesday, 17 November 2010 03:04 PM
What is a leaking roof compared to severe floods destroying innocent people's houses??
Pedro Wednesday, 17 November 2010 03:12 PM
Do not some of your heros have a greencard or even US citizenship as well?
Thinuka Wednesday, 17 November 2010 03:21 PM
