Rs. 7 m worth foreign currency found

A bag, containing at least 7.1 million rupees worth of foreign currency was found in a toilet at the Bandaranaike International Air Port, Katunayake this morning by the Air Port Customs, officials confirmed.

A senior Customs official said that a cleaner at the air port was taken into custody with the money bag. (SD)
