Victory day parade is a propaganda to fool the public like showing our politicians has done this.

Suq Madique Monday, 29 April 2013 11:08 AM

Sickening fools! Its time they stopped using the war victory to cover up all the sins thereafter.

    Nodrog Monday, 29 April 2013 11:11 AM

How many years more are they going to play the 'victory' card? The masses will be more impressed if they could win the war against the high COL

    Premalal Monday, 29 April 2013 11:15 AM

    Whose victory?

    Jahan Monday, 29 April 2013 11:41 AM

They want to minimise MAY day rallies...Electricity hike related protests....Victory day is only in 19th May....why do they need rehearsels tomorrow?

    SHM Monday, 29 April 2013 11:47 AM

What victory day when we live in darkness in fear of electricity bills.....................

Pol Pot Monday, 29 April 2013 01:29 PM

This kind of celebration does not allow for Reconciliation and Unification of the Country. It would have been better to spend that money in developing the Water Resources and Electricity for the people, instead of massaging the Politicians' already oversized Egos!

Cyril de Alwis Monday, 29 April 2013 01:28 PM

Will they also invite the hero, Genral Sarath Fonseka, who won this battle. The politician were hiding when the General was fighting face to face. All of a sudden, all the politicians are out and the hero is kept in. What a wonderful world.

    jay Tuesday, 30 April 2013 05:17 AM

    bullshit!!

Living the dream o/s Tuesday, 30 April 2013 06:13 AM

The LTTE is still alive and kicking all over the world and destroying SL.

    vishali Tuesday, 30 April 2013 11:23 AM

Had he wanted, he could have caused mayhem in the south in the tail end . This would have resulted bloodbath and entry of foreign forces under whom we would be there even today.

Jagath Leanage Tuesday, 30 April 2013 03:26 PM

Roads are closed for people, and we know that.
