Plundering at a swing? The nation going bankrupt
Nodrog Sunday, 18 November 2012 02:48 AM
The only thing consistent about this Govt is its inconsistency. Rules are made and broken for no rhyme or reason or thought for the consequences but to fill the pockets of some and inflate the egos of the rest..

Having a field day. Treating citizens in two ways. One section lives duty free tax free while the other section pays all the taxes and duties and call it them engine of growth.

Another avenue of ( illegal) now legal income for the Public Servants of this country . Nothing for the Public though who elect the Parliamentarians and employ the Public servants.
Ling Saturday, 17 November 2012 07:06 PM
Why choose to see and write something you like and not the fact. What is public servant? What is Lamborghini? Does anyone know is not a normal sport car that you can buy and drive, well for me to know and you go and find out.

All beggars should be categorized in to groups like Aston Martin , Lamborogine ,Toyota beggars Dimo batta beggars
and issue with transferable car permits
The beggars can be eliminated in a week !!!
All Parliament area beggars must be given the most expensive type of car permits.
richardson Saturday, 17 November 2012 09:52 AM
All beggars should be given vehicle permits and this way, can wipe out the beggar population.

Many people don't realise the seriousness of this. This is a public roberry!!. Not only by the politicians but also the high ranking Govt. officials who are the law makers adjusting laws for their own benifits. Politicians and High ranked Govt. officials can purchase duty free vehicles every 5 years and sell them immediately without any restrictions but the poor people who want to buy a vehicle for their earnings should pay the exess Taxes!
Christine Saturday, 17 November 2012 07:17 AM
Dear President, Why all this money spinning opportunities are only awarded to the government MPs .while import duty on vehicles are kept sky -high for the rest. Sir, try to keep your good name always on top, because Srilanka now has a very bad name for political corruption and domineering and arragant political behavier. No one cares about public opinion.
Matalan Saturday, 17 November 2012 06:58 AM
Just for holding a high position you can make 2 to 3 million extra overnight through vehicle sale. What on earth is the benefit to the long suffering man-on-the-street?
Lapas Saturday, 17 November 2012 04:56 AM
