The Colombo Additional Magistrate Praharshika Ranasinghe released two suspects who were arrested when they were preparing to paste posters in Polhengoda, Kelaniya publicizing JVP’s 21st Ill Maha Viru Samuruwa.

The Magistrate said that these area do not come under the 2008 No 40 highways act and rejected the charges produced by the police that they had violated the act. It was also proven that the suspects were taken into custody before they started pasting the posters. (TFT)

JVP should be banned immediately. Verdicts should be inline with the mandate of the people if it is related to politics.

Minister Athauda! So you think that honourable judges like this must be trained by the Indians? You should get your head examined at Mulleriyawa.
