New Examination Commissioner appointed

W.M.J. Pushkpakumara has been appointed as the Examinations Commissioner with effect from January 1, 2012. The cabinet made this decision due to the fact that the current commissioner Anura Edirisinghe is scheduled to retire on December 31, 2011. (HF)
