Attorneys of these thugs have told court that they were suffering from various sicknesses. They are healthy to commit all thuggery and crimes and fall ill when cornered by the law.
Shaik Ahamath Monday, 17 September 2012 12:41 PM
We should now stop commenting on this case lest the thugs claim, justifiably, that they did not get a fair trial, if this ever comes to court.
Matalan Monday, 17 September 2012 12:33 PM
HE doesn't care because HE the President of this country doesn't care about this or anything. Who can blame them as people have voted @60% + for more of the same muck!

Has he been remanded at Temple Tress or the Jaic Hilton Hotel????
Chandana Monday, 17 September 2012 11:20 PM
There should be a sufficient punishment not just jail because they have everything like home in the jail (dirty politics power)
Hope Monday, 17 September 2012 12:40 PM
Dear Media
Even this sort of justice happened, due to the media persistence and people’s determination so well done, which means if we are determined enough we can achieve some justice.
9/10 chance he will be given bail, even though the Army Intelligence office was there to track down drug criminals. So Nawala Nihal, Poddala and these Ministers son’s where having a chat while watching a match, who believe these stories. Officer was assaulted due to he was trying to investigate a BIGGER crime. Hope we can pursuit correct avenue’s and punish the culprits!! (Keep dreaming )
On the other hand keep and eye out what might happen to the innocent district magistrate in the near future, he might get a transfer soon, loss his promotions and all sorts.
Hope

If this fellow is really in remand, great time to punish him for hitting the Police too. Put them in jail and throw the keys away... That is JUSTICE for fellows like this...
Please remember, this is NOT his first assault!!!!!
Jehan S Tuesday, 18 September 2012 02:48 AM
Maybe he can become Minister of Public Affairs, Welikada prison. I am sure he would be king of that prison sitting above the superintendent.
Ajith Tuesday, 18 September 2012 03:04 AM
He is not remanded. Hospitalized through the Prison. Now, he will say "I cant remember anything"

MR i hope you are reading all the comments, because it is important to know how thw people of this country feel about injustise. What will happen if an ordinary person had commited this crime.
Deen Tuesday, 18 September 2012 06:30 AM
The Attorneys appearing for these thugs and seeking on their behalf clemency and hospital treatment on bogus grounds instead of being remanded in remand prison should be identified and blacklisted.
