A 24-year-old Sri Lankan man has been charged with four counts of sexual touching and is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court today.
The man has been charged in connection with the assault of three young women on buses.
One of the attacks was on a Hartlepool bus, while another was destined for the town and a third happened on a bus in the Middlesbrough area.
Detectives say that in each incident, a man is said to have sat next to a young girl on a bus before talking to her and then groping, fondling or trying to kiss her.
The incidents took place between Monday, November 7 and Monday, November 21. (Source: Hartlepool Mail)

This is one isolated incident and though we Sri Lankans are disgusted, should not reflect on all Sri Lankans abroad. Lankans generally behave much better than some others in foreign countries. Obviously he is mentally ill and needs medical attention.

What a shame. These people are a liability in terms of national security because they seek sexual gratification at the expense of all the other Sri Lankans' good names. After incidents like this, events happening in favour of Sri Lankans will be at stakes. These people should be detained and punished severely had they return to Sri Lankan soil.
