JVP to take legal actions

The JVP today said it would take legal action in the Supreme Court if the rejection of UPFA and UNP nomination lists at the coming local government election was cancelled in Akmemana, Akuressa, Moneragala Pradeshiya Sabhas and others.

Addressing a press conference JVP MP Anura Kumara Dissanayake also called the party also called on the main opposition UNP to withdraw the cases it had filed against the rejection of its nominations as a responsible opposition party without falling into government’s trap. (YP)
