No doubt about Lasith Malinga because he taken his IPL Captain's( tendulkar) wicket, actually srilankan players loss their confidence in the initial overs, basically it is flat batting pitch, malinga tried yorkers against virat kohli(the only option left) but the result reversed,

conclusion: there is neither fault of captain Jayawardene feilding setup nor lasith malinga bowling

Finally as a sports person we appreciate batting of dilshan and virat kohli

Malinga is play better when he play for Mumbai, first he said he can not play Test and resigned.But now he can't play ODI as well.Sachithra is better option than Herath.Loosing is does not matter for us.But if we unable protect 320+ in 40 overs mean is rediculars. Today don't brouse cricinfo you will see hundred of bad comments about SL.We have mentle issue when we play with IND. Anyway all the best for the next game.

I think this wicket is not good for fast bowlers. Also adequate fielders were not placed near the boundary lines.to prevent boundaries. Mj should put Malinga to ball in the opening overs continuously. By putting him to ball in the middle made India to hammer. I think overall our field setting failed, specially when it comes to pace bowlers. This is a match we could have won if we followed Australian's bowling and fielding pattern.

Mahela also a culprit, since he did not manage bowling side. He did not utilize Dilshan & Herath. He has weakness of changing bowling though previous matches won. This is shameful match.

Malinga bowls only yorkers. On his day, he gets them swinging in and he's a hero. But, yorkers alone won't make a genuinely good bowler. This was proven today. Also, Mahela did not have to take the bowling power before the 40th over, within which India had to score to get the bonus pt.

As a spectator,I must say MJ got all wrong in this game.He didn't use his bowlers well.Field placing was like in a school match
Mathews must be sent at last to bat because he only hits in the 50 th over.Don't waste overs by sending him up .Fielding was ordinary.Drop Kalpage from his post.

Malinga must now resign from one day squad and play only in the 20/20 and IPL.He scored a century not with the bat but with the ball.Losing is ok but getting smashed like this is horrible to see.If MJ couldn't defend 320 in 40 overs, that tells us the story.

Well played Dilly.You deserved this score.Finally Sanga found his rythem but is it too late?Drop LM for the next match bring in some one.Hearth was very ordinary but once again under utilized and he was the most economical.We will find it extremely difficult to forget this loss as it was a humiliation.Captain didn't know what hit him in the end.

Lasith is a predictable bowler. He does not have variations. Sri Lankans body language seems to be very negative. 320 runs scored in 36 overs is remarkable, congrats India. This match is a carbon copy of WC 2012 Finals. We threw the game away. I definitely agree with Saman - Lasith plays best when playing for Mumbai Indians.
