Government takes over Hilton

Minister of Economics Development Basil Rajapaksa informed parliament today that the Hilton Hotel Colombo had been taken over by the government last week, as the investor had violated the lease agreement having paid the lease for only two months. (KB/YP)

How about using this facility for Ministers who have endless problems in finding accommodation in Colombo. After all ministers need some decent accommodation in Colombo to perform their jobs efficiently . Good move our govt
