Gold smuggler arrested

A woman from Ragama was arrested at the BIA this morning while attempting to smuggle out gold buckles hidden in her luggage. A Customs official said the contraband was valued at more than Rs.4.8 million.

He said she had been frequent traveler between India and Sri Lanka. (Deepa Adikari)

    Is it sure that contraband was valued 4.8 million?
    Ask smuggler to the exact market value coz gold price is down these days :D
