As a kid I wondered why elephants sometimes went berserk and started stomping on the mahout. Now I know that this is one of most easily understandable impulses in an elephant

Pinnawala elephant orphanage is a pathetic place for elephants. The caretakers are very mean to these animals.
Read your bad reports from travellers on Trip Advisor about Pinnawela elephant orphange.
    Shame on you.

Animal cruelty is very common in SL and it is regretted the authorities show a blind eye. Thanks to the judge for his/her genuine judgement in this case. From mornig till night we hear and engage in all sort of relegious events but the concern for the innocent lives of poor animals fading badly.
