Generally the 911 responds very rarely. The SMS affair will also have the same effect. People have lost faith in Police service. We are a very unfortunate lot in this blessed land.

Wow, so we can expect the cops to reply the SMS in English saying "we are on our way"! Unbelievable!!

Bonnie Mallie Tuesday, 14 August 2012 09:17 AM
Can we pay bribe also through SMS?
Muhandiram Tuesday, 14 August 2012 09:23 AM
This is a good move but executing it would be difficult. Police might end up receiving a large number of unncessary messages. Hope there is a mechanism in place to track those who abuse the facility.
prasanna Tuesday, 14 August 2012 09:13 AM
