MR and his gang will do anything to cover their sins. Having done evil now they are asking for justice in the new govt. Hypocrites and shameless.

This statement proves that only the leader is changed and rest will be the same. Karuna is facing accusations from many international human rights organizations.

The issue is not whether Karuna is a Tamil or Sinhalese. The issue is that Karuna is one who is known to have committed many crimes and is also named in the UN files. Are we ready to have a peoples representative with such a reputation? His race or denomination does not matter, main thing is we need legislatures who are clean and not thugs, murderers, tavern owners, soldiers, shrewd businessmen etc...

karuna did not espouse terrorism and joined the government. He saw the danger on his life imminent by Prabhakaran and therefore caused the split! Therefore there is a difference! KP on the other-hand was caught and brought over to SL. Whether he took arms or only supported logistically is the same as fighting for a separate state.

Please do not justify the wrongs or the previous regime even though you were part of that. Some criminals too were in power at that time. Karuna, Dogulas, Pilliyan Mervin, Janaka to name a few.
