Another accident injures 20

A head-on collision between two private passenger buses left at least 20 people injured at Thalagala, Moragahahena on the Maharagama-Horana road this morning, Police said.

The buses were traveling in opposite directions when the accident occurred. An investigation was underway and the injured were taken to the Homagama hospital, they said. (Pix by Muditha Dayananda)

    The main contributor in the present motor vehicle accidents, I believe, is NOT the lack of skill driving BUT rather the attitude of the drivers. In fact the whole nation (especially the youth) suffers from attitude problems. Scant respect and conceern towards the neighbour.
